Nev. Admin. Code § 652.455 - Continuing education: Prerequisites to renewal of license or certificate
1. Each director, general supervisor,
technologist, technician, pathologist's assistant and point-of-care test
analyst licensed or certified pursuant to this chapter shall complete 2 units
of continuing education within the 2 years immediately preceding the
application for renewal of the license or certificate. At least half of the
total units of continuing education required must be from approved
courses.
2. Each laboratory
assistant or blood-gas assistant shall complete 1 unit of continuing education
within the 2 years immediately preceding the application for renewal of his or
her certificate.
