N.H. Admin. Code § Crv 103.02 - Responsibilities of the Commission

The commission's responsibilities include:

(a) Assembling and publishing a comprehensive inventory of natural resources of

the Connecticut River valley;

(b) Coordinating a regional promotional program with the department of resources and economic development;

(c) Providing for interstate cooperation with the state of Vermont;

(d) Cooperating with local communities and regional planning commissions;

(e) Reviewing and evaluating other river and watershed protection endeavors;

(f) Seeking and expending additional public and private funds;

(g) Encouraging the protection of agricultural, historical, and natural resources, and the provision of additional public access to recreational sites; and

(h) Providing grants to further the purposes of the commission.
