N.H. Admin. Code § Per 102.62 - Probationary period
"Probationary period" means a period of full-time work during which a full-time employee is required to demonstrate satisfactory performance of the duties and responsibilities of the employee's position as listed on the supplemental job description for the position.

"Reemployment" means the employment by the appointing authority of a laid off former employee or an employee who was demoted in lieu of layoff to a position within the agency in a classification other than that from which the employee was laid off.
