N.H. Code Admin. R. He-M 521.06 - Medication Administration
When an individual living with his or her family is in need of medication administration, such administration shall:
(a) Comply with He-M 1201 when administered
by area agency, provider agency staff, home providers, or other providers
contracted by the area agency;
(b)
Comply with Nur 404 when a nurse identified in
Nur
404.04 delegates the task of medication administration
to providers who are neither family members nor under contract with an area
agency or provider agency, except in situations where the individuals are
living with their families and receiving respite arranged by the family;
or
(c) When performed by family
members paid under He-M 521, include discussion between the area agency or
provider agency and the family about any concerns the family might have
regarding medication administration.
