N.J. Admin. Code § 10:110-13.1 - General statement
(a)
In cases where there is no order for child support and medical support within no more than 90 calendar days of determining the location of the
non-custodial parent, an order for support shall be established or service of process completed, as necessary, to commence proceedings to establish
an order.
1. A consent order will be attempted in accordance with individual county procedures prior to the
scheduled court date.
2. If parentage is acknowledged and/or child support and medical support are agreed
upon, the consent order shall be forwarded to the appropriate court for review and approval by the court.
