N.J. Admin. Code § 10:60-3.2 - Basis for reimbursement for personal care assistant services
(a)
Personal care assistant services shall be reimbursable when provided to
Medicaid/NJ FamilyCare beneficiaries in their place of residence or place of
employment, or at a post-secondary educational or training program. The term
"place of residence" shall include, but is not limited to:
1. A private home;
2. A rooming house;
3. A boarding home (not Class C);
4. A Child Protection and Permanency resource
family home;
5. A Division of
Developmental Disabilities (DDD ) group home, skill development home, supervised
apartment, or other congregate living program where personal care assistance is
not provided as part of the service package which is included in the
beneficiary's living arrangement; or
6. Temporary emergency housing arrangements
including, but not limited to, a hotel or shelter.
