N.J. Admin. Code § 12:90-3.5 - Licenses for low pressure boilers
(a) This section
shall apply to the licenses required to operate a low pressure
boiler.
(b) A licensed person shall
be required to operate a low pressure steam or hot water heating plant in which
the rated capacity exceed 100 horsepower or 499 square feet of heating surface
or 4,000,000 BTU input or 1,000 kilowatts regardless of pressure or temperature
conditions, and only when the building or building being served is deemed
occupied.
(c) A person with a low
pressure license may operate low pressure boilers of unlimited
horsepower.
