N.J. Admin. Code § 13:39-5.9 - Prescription balances, scales, weights and automatic counting devices
(a) All pharmacies
shall have all balances, scales, weights and automatic counting devices
inspected every 12 months by the Department of Weights and Measures of the
municipality or county in which the pharmacy is located, and such balances,
scales, weights and automatic counting devices shall be properly sealed by the
applicable authority.
(b) Counting
trays or counting devices that meet the requirements of (a) above shall be used
to count oral, solid drugs or medications.
