N.J. Admin. Code § 7:9A-3.2 - New systems

All aspects of the location, design, construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of new individual subsurface sewage disposal systems shall comply with the requirements of these standards and any conditions specified in a treatment works approval.

Outlined the circumstances under which septic system designs which the board of health having jurisdiction or its authorized agent (administrative authority) approved before January 1, 1990, in accordance with the rules which were repealed July 28, may be constructed, installed and certified.
