CHAPTER HISTORICAL NOTE:
Chapter 39, Unusual or Disaster Maintenance, consisting of Subchapters 1 and 2, was adopted by the Commissioner of Transportation pursuant to N.J.S.A. 27:7 and was filed and became effective prior to 9/1/1969. Subchapter 3, Spilled Cargo on State Highways, was adopted as new rules by R.1974 d.101, effective 4/23/1974. See: 6 New Jersey Register 83(b), 6 New Jersey Register 203(c). Chapter 39 was recodified as Subchapters 3, 4 and 5 of N.J.A.C. 16:38 by an administrative change. See: 27 New Jersey Register 4905(b).
