CHAPTER HISTORICAL NOTE:
Chapter 62, Motor Vehicle Race Track Rules, was adopted as R.1990 d.175, effective March 19, 1990. See: 21 N.J.R. 3646(a), 22 N.J.R. 965(a).
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 66(1978), Chapter 62, Motor Vehicle Race Track Rules, was readopted as R.1995 d.206, effective March 17, 1995. As a part of R.1995 d.206, Subchapter 3, Construction Requirements, was repealed and existing Subchapters 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13 and 14 were replaced with new rules; Subchapters 6A, 6B, 12A, 12B, 15 and 16 were adopted as new rules, effective April 17, 1995. See: 27 N.J.R. 445(a), 27 N.J.R. 1622(a).
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 66(1978), the expiration date for Chapter 62, Motor Vehicle Race Track Rules, was extended by gubernatorial directive from March 17, 2000 to September 22, 2000. See: 32 N.J.R. 1244(a).
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 66(1978), the expiration date for Chapter 62, Motor Vehicle Race Track Rules, was extended by gubernatorial directive from September 30, 2000 to September 30, 2001. See: 32 N.J.R. 3869(c).
Chapter 62, Motor Vehicle Race Track Rules, was readopted as R.2001 d.354, effective August 31, 2001. See: 33 N.J.R. 2250(a), 33 N.J.R. 3451(b).
Chapter 62, Motor Vehicle Race Track Rules, was readopted as R.2007 d.79, effective February 6, 2007. As a part of R.2007 d.79, Subchapter 3, Safety Requirements for Vehicles and Personnel: Road Racing and High Performance Driving Schools, and Subchapter 6C, Motorcycle, Quad Vehicle or Snowmobile Hare Scramble Events, were adopted as new rules, and Subchapter 10, Automobile Enduro Events, was renamed Automobile Enduro Events (Other Than at Licensed Road Course Facilities), effective March 5, 2007. Subchapter 6B, Motocross Enduro Racing Events, was renamed Motorcycle Enduro Racing Events; and Subchapter 8A, Lawn Mower Racing Events, was adopted as new rules by R.2009 d.158, effective May 4, 2009. See: 41 N.J.R. 381(a), 41 N.J.R. 2029(a).
In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14B-5.1b, Chapter 62, Motor Vehicle Race Track Rules, was scheduled to expire on February 6, 2014. See: 43 N.J.R. 1203(a).
Chapter 62, Motor Vehicle Race Track Rules, was readopted as R.2014 d.135, effective August 1, 2014. As a part of R.2014 d.135, Subchapter 3A, Drifting, Subchapter 3B, Autocross, and Subchapter 9A, Tractor Pull Events, were adopted as new rules; Subchapter 6C, Motorcycle, Quad Vehicle or Snowmobile Hare Scramble Events, was renamed Motorcycle, Quad Vehicle, or Snowmobile Hare Scramble Events; and Subchapter 9, Demolition Derby and Tractor Pulls, was renamed Demolition Derby, effective September 2, 2014.
