N.M. Admin. Code § 1.10.13.24 - EARMARKING
A. It is unlawful
for a person to make a contribution in the name of another person and no
reporting entity shall knowingly accept a contribution from one person in the
name of another person.
B. A
reporting individual shall not knowingly accept a contribution which was
earmarked by an original donor for contribution from a subsequent donor to the
candidate or committee unless the original donor is disclosed in the
committee's reporting.
C. All
contributions made by a person, either directly or indirectly, including
contributions that are in any way earmarked or otherwise directed through
another person, shall be treated as contributions from the person who
originally made the contribution.
