N.M. Admin. Code § 15.6.12.7 - DEFINITIONS
A.
"MKR" refers to minimum kicking requirements.
B.
"Down" or "knock
down" refers to a situation where any portion of a contestant's body,
other than his feet, touches the floor.
C.
"Leg checking" means
extending the leg to check an opponent's leg to prevent him from
kicking.
D.
"Clinching" mean holding or otherwise tying-up an opponent's arms to
prohibit him from punching.
E.
"Palm heel strikes" means using the heel of the palm of the hand
to deliver a blow to the face of an opponent.
F.
"Blind foul" refers to a
foul that the referee cannot see.
