N.M. Admin. Code § 16.25.9.16 - LABORATORY SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT
A. Clinical pathology and histopathology
diagnostic laboratory services must be readily available within the veterinary
facility or through outside services.
B. Laboratory data is the property of the
veterinary facility that originally ordered it to be prepared.
C. A copy of laboratory data shall be
released in a timely manner to another veterinarian who has the authorization
of the owner or agent or directly to the owner or agent.
D. A laboratory must be equipped with a
microscope and a centrifuge.
