N.M. Admin. Code § 18.3.14.21 - MAINTENANCE, PRESERVATION, AND RETENTION OF RECORDS
In addition to the record requirements for motor carriers, every ambulance service shall maintain accurate and separate records of its services in New Mexico, including:
A.
driver records with current licenses, history of department of transportation
(DOT) physical examinations, approved firefighter fitness exam certification or
other approved physician certifications, and emergency vehicle operator
training history;
B. EMS personnel
licensure;
C. statement of
employment or volunteer status, including start and stop dates;
D. records of equipment to include
inspection, repair and maintenance records, equipment lists, vehicle title and
registration certificates;
E.
organized records of all ambulance runs, including a copy of the patient care
record.
