N.M. Admin. Code § 6.100.2.15 - USE OF COMMUNITY RESOURCES
A.
DVR will maximally utilize public or other vocational or technical training
programs or other appropriate resources in the community; and, as appropriate,
enter into agreements with the operators of community rehabilitation programs
for the provision of services for the rehabilitation of individuals with
disabilities.
B. DVR will assure
that facilities used in connection with the delivery of services assisted under
the state plan will comply with the Architectural Barriers Act of 1968, with
section 504 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended, and with the Americans
with Disabilities Act of 1990. DVR will require an assurance from each
community rehabilitation program it employs, certifying that the program is
either in compliance with the aforementioned regulatory requirements or
documenting why it has a valid exemption under the law.
