N.M. Admin. Code § 8.100.100.18 - TRAINING
A. General
statement: Effective staff development and training is an integral part of
successful ISD program operations. ISD supports employee attendance at
job-relevant training opportunities. Attendance at training sessions needs
supervisory approval. Priorities for such approval are:
(1) training to improve skills needed in an
employee's current position;
(2)
training to add new skills useful in an employee's current position;
(3) training for an employee's career
development.
B.
Budget: ISD managers are encouraged to develop training plans and
budgets for their administrative units. Such plans must be coordinated with the
ISD training staff. ISD training staff members are available for consultation
in developing these plans and budgets.
