N.M. Admin. Code § 8.321.11.51 - CORRIDORS
A. Minimum corridor
width shall be five feet except work corridors less than six feet in length may
be four feet in width.
B. For
facilities contained within existing commercial or residential buildings, less
stringent corridor widths may be allowed if not in conflict with building or
fire codes. A waiver or variance may be requested but must be approved by the
licensing authority prior to occupying the licensed part of the
building.
