N.M. Admin. Code § 8.321.6.41 - FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM
The facility must be equipped with smoke detectors as required by the NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code) and approved in writing by the fire authority having jurisdiction as to number, type and placement.
