N.M. Admin. Code § 8.321.6.48 - WATER HEATERS
A.
Must be able to supply hot water to all hot water taps within the facility at
full pressure during peak demand periods and maintain a maximum temperature of
120 degrees F.
B. Fuel fired hot
water heaters must be enclosed and separated from other parts of the building
by construction as required by current state and local building
codes.
C. All water heaters must be
equipped with a pressure relief valve (pop-off valve).
