N.M. Admin. Code § 8.370.18.6 - OBJECTIVE
A. Establish
minimum standards for licensing of health facilities who provide outpatient
medical services and infirmaries.
B. Monitor health facilities providing
outpatient medical services and infirmaries with these regulations through
surveys to identify any areas which could be dangerous or harmful to the
patients or staff.
C. Encourage the
establishment and maintenance of health facilities to provide outpatient
medical services and infirmaries to the citizens of New Mexico that provide
quality services that maintains or improves the health and quality of life to
the patients.
