N.M. Admin. Code § 8.370.19.34 - PHARMACEUTICAL SERVICES
Each hospice facility shall maintain a pharmaceutical service that is conducted in accordance with current standards of practice and all applicable laws and regulations:
A. A
pharmaceutical service shall be directed by a licensed pharmacist.
B. The scope of pharmaceutical services shall
be consistent with the drug therapy needs of the patients as determined by the
physician.
C. The pharmacist must
develop policies and procedures for ordering, storage, administration,
disposal, and recordkeeping of drugs and biologicals.
