N.M. Admin. Code § 8.371.2.43 - SEWAGE AND WASTE DISPOSAL
A.
All sewage and liquid wastes must be disposed of into a municipal sewage system
where such facilities are available.
B. Where a municipal sewage system is not
available, the system used must be inspected and approved by the environmental
health authority.
C. Where
municipal or community garbage collection and disposal service are not
available the method of collection and disposal of garbage used by the facility
must be inspected and approved by the New Mexico environment
department.
D. All garbage and
refuse receptacles must be durable, have tight fitting lids, must be insect and
rodent proof, washable, leak proof, and constructed of material which will not
absorb liquids. Receptacles must be kept clean.
