N.M. Admin. Code § 8.371.2.86 - PREVENTIVE HEALTH SERVICES
The facility must have preventive health services for clients that include:
A. means for the prompt
detection and referral of health problems through adequate medical
surveillance, periodic inspection and regular medical examinations;
B. annual physical examinations that include:
(1) examination of vision and
hearing;
(2) routine screening
laboratory examinations as determined necessary by the physician and special
studies when needed.
C.
immunizations using as a guide the recommendations of the public health service
advisory committee on immunization practices and of the committee on the
control of infectious diseases of the American academy of pediatrics;
D. Tuberculosis control in accordance with
New Mexico state law;
E. Reporting
of communicable diseases and infections in accordance with New Mexico state
law.
