N.M. Admin. Code § 8.371.5.18 - SANCTIONS
The authority or other governmental agency having regulatory enforcement authority for community based services provider agencies who have entered into contracts or medicaid provider agreements with the health care authority, developmental disabilities supports division, may sanction in accordance with applicable law if the service provider fails to provide services as set forth by this rule. Such sanctions may include revocation or suspension of license, directed plan of correction, intermediate sanctions or civil monetary penalty up to $5000 per instance, or termination or nonrenewal of any contract with the authority or other governmental agency.
