13 N.C. Admin. Code 13 .0416 - REINSTALLATION OF CERTAIN BOILERS AND PRESSURE VESSELS
(a)
A boiler or pressure vessel that is not constructed pursuant to the accepted
design and construction code shall not be reinstalled at any location in this
State when the reinstallation is accompanied by a change of ownership of the
boiler or pressure vessel unless the owner/user receives authorization in
writing from the Chief Inspector.
(b) Used boilers or pressure vessels shall
not be installed unless an application for permission to install the equipment
has been approved in writing according to the rules in this Chapter by the
Chief Inspector followed by a certificate inspection by a Deputy
Inspector.
(c) Applications to
install used or nonstandard boilers or pressure vessels must be made in writing
to the Chief Inspector.
