Ohio Admin. Code 102-7-01 - Confidentiality

Any complaint, charge, inquiry, or investigation relating to the proceedings of the commission will be private and confidential, and all papers, records, affidavits and documents relating to such matters will be kept confidential except as otherwise provided in Chapter 102. of the Revised Code. The retention of all papers, records, affidavits, and documents relating to these matters will be in accordance with section 149.34 of the Revised Code.

(A) Any complaint, charge, inquiry, or investigation relating to the proceedings of the commission will be private and confidential, and all papers, records, affidavits and documents relating to such matters will be kept confidential except as otherwise provided in Chapter 102. of the Revised Code. The retention of all papers, records, affidavits, and documents relating to these matters will be in accordance with section 149.34 of the Revised Code.

(B) The commission may at its discretion share information gathered in the course of any investigation with, or disclose the information to, the inspector general, any appropriate prosecuting authority, any law enforcement agency, or any other appropriate ethics commission.
