Ohio Admin. Code 1509-1-16 - Continuances
Continuances may be ordered by the commission on its own
motion, or may be granted by the commission in its discretion, upon application
of any party, filed in writing and showing good and sufficient cause therefor.
If such application is made, it must be made seasonably and in any event not less than
five
seven
days prior to the date set for hearing. An application for continuance must be
directed to the commission and not to an individual commission member, and may
be acted upon only by the commission. This rule shall be without prejudice to
the right of the commission to continue a hearing to a later date.
