Ohio Admin. Code 3301-24-29 - Temporary military duty license
(A)
The Ohio
Department of Education issues a three-year temporary military duty license,
valid in a category, type, and level for which the Ohio Department of Education
issues credentials to an individual who:
(1)
is deemed to be
of good moral character; and
(2)
meets the
requirements set forth in section
4743.041 of the Revised
Code.
(B)
A license issued under this rule is valid only in the
category, type, and level that is substantively comparable to the applicant's
valid out-of-state license or certificate and experience pursuant to section
4743.041 of the Revised Code. A
temporary military duty license may only be issued in a category, type, and
level for which the Ohio Department of Education already issues a
credential.
(C)
The temporary military duty license may be renewed one
time, provided the applicant meets the requirements set forth in section
4743.041 of the Revised Code at
the time of renewal.
(D)
Provided the individual has completed all requirements
for the applicable license, an individual issued a license under this section
may also apply for and be issued a resident educator license or professional
educator license issued under section
3319.22 of the Revised Code, or
a license in any other category, type, and level issued by the Ohio Department
of Education.
