Ohio Admin. Code 3333-1-06 - Public notice of proposed rule adoption, amendment, or rescission
This rule is adopted pursuant to the requirements of section 119.03 of the Revised Code.
When the chancellor of the Ohio board of regents
department
of higher education is required by Chapter 119. of the Revised Code to
conduct a public hearing prior to adopting, amending, or rescinding a rule, the
chancellor of the Ohio board of regents
department of higher education shall give public
notice in the register of Ohio of its intention to consider adopting, amending,
or rescinding such rule or rules. The content and timing of such public notice
shall conform to the requirements of section
119.03 of the Revised Code. The
chancellor of the Ohio board of regents
department of higher education may give additional
notice as deemed necessary; however, the giving of such notice shall not be
mandatory and failure to give notice by any means other than in the register of
Ohio shall not in any way invalidate any action which may be taken by the
chancellor of the Ohio board of regents
department of higher education.
