Ohio Admin. Code 3335-5-27 - Powers
The faculty of the college of arts and sciences shall have jurisdiction over:
(A)
All programs for
the "untagged" bachelor's degrees, subject only to approval by the council on
academic affairs and the university senate. Such degrees shall be awarded only
upon the recommendation of the faculty of the college of arts and
sciences.
(B)
The general education requirements for all programs in
the colleges of the arts and sciences, and joint responsibility for planning
the general education requirements for colleges outside the college of arts and
sciences on a cooperative basis. Jurisdiction for the general education
requirements for colleges outside the college of arts and sciences shall lie
with the university senate through the council on academic affairs, and not
with the faculty of the college of arts and sciences.
