Ohio Admin. Code 3344-62-13 - Consulting and extramural employment
(A) The university recognizes the value for
librarians, the university, and the community of many types of consulting and
other external employment experiences that enhance the professional competency
of the individual and bring credit, not only to the librarian, but to the
university as well. Therefore, with appropriate approval, activities are
permitted that may render valuable service to business, industry, and
professional groups, and to local, state, and federal governments.
(B) No librarian shall be permitted to
undertake any extramural employment during scheduled hours of employment
without prior written approval.
(C)
No librarian shall use the name, symbol, or address of Cleveland state
university in any extramural employment agreement. University staff,
facilities, equipment, and material may be used for such purposes only with the
express written consent of the university and according to explicit terms for
reimbursement.
