Ohio Admin. Code 3701-3-06 - Reporting to department
A board of health that receives a report of a case, suspected case or positive laboratory result pursuant to rules 3701-3-02, 3701-3-03, 3701-3-04, and 3701-3-05 of the Administrative Code shall report the same report to the department as follows:
(A) Diseases specified as
class "A" in paragraph (A) of rule
3701-3-02
of the Administrative Code shall be reported by telephone immediately after the
existence of such case or suspect case is known to the board of health.
(B) Diseases specified as class
"B" in paragraph (B) of rule
3701-3-02
of the Administrative Code shall be reported by the end of the next business
day after the existence of such case or suspect case or positive laboratory
result is known to the board of health.
(C) Outbreaks, unusual incidence, or
epidemics of diseases specified as class "C" in paragraph (C) of rule
3701-3-02
of the Administrative Code shall be reported by the end of the next business
day after the outbreak, unusual incidence, or epidemic is known to the board of
health.
