Ohio Admin. Code 3704-1-02 - Commission on minority health
The commission on minority health shall facilitate health promotion and disease prevention among minority groups by:
(A) Facilitating the development of
innovative, culturally sensitive and specific educational materials and
services for targeted, at-risk minority communities by providing grant funds to
community-based health groups;
(B)
Assuring the impact of grant dollars by limiting the scope of funding
consideration to chronic diseases and conditions which can be ameliorated by
health promotion and disease prevention activities; and
(C) Implementing the recommendations of the
governors task force on Black and minority health.
