Ohio Admin. Code 3745-66-15 - Certification of closure
Within sixty days of
after completion of closure of each surface
impoundment, waste pile, land treatment, landfill unit, and storage area, and
within sixty days of
after completion of final closure, the owner or
operator shall
must submit to the director, by registered mail, a
certification that the hazardous waste management unit or facility, as
applicable, has been closed in accordance with specifications in the approved
closure plan. The certification shall
must be signed by the owner or operator and by
an independent, registered
a qualified professional engineer. Documentation
supporting the independent, registered
professional engineer's certification shallmust be furnished to the director
upon request until he releases the owner or operator from the financial
assurance requirements for closure under paragraph (H) of rule
3745-66-43 of the Administrative
Code.
