Ohio Admin. Code 3772-11-07 - Patron exchanges
(A)
Whenever a patron
presents cash, tickets, or other physical payment instrument to a dealer at a
gaming table to obtain gaming chips, the following requirements must be
met:
(1)
The
physical payment instrument, if applicable, must be spread on the top of the
gaming table by the dealer in full view of the patron who presented it and the
supervisor assigned to that gaming table;
(2)
The physical
payment instrument, if applicable, must be taken from the top of the gaming
table and placed by the dealer into the drop box.
(B)
When electronic
payments are exchanged at a gaming table, the amount exchanged must be
displayed in a manner that is visible to the patron, dealer, and
surveillance.
(C)
When the value of cash, tickets, chips, or other
payment in patron exchanges exceeds thresholds set by the executive director,
the following additional requirements must be met:
(1)
The amount to be
exchanged must be announced by the dealer accepting the cash, tickets, chips,
or other payment in a tone of voice calculated to be heard by the patron and
the supervisor assigned to that gaming table; and
(2)
A supervisor must
verify the amount of cash, tickets, chips, or other payment as they are
exchanged.
