Ohio Admin. Code 4123-17-36 - [Effective 7/1/2025] Administrative cost contribution
(A) The administrator of workers'
compensation, with the advice and consent of the bureau of workers'
compensation board of directors, has authority to calculate contributions for
administrative costs attributable to the activities of the industrial
commission, the bureau of workers' compensation board of directors, and the
bureau of workers' compensation pursuant to sections
4121.121,
4123.341, and
4123.342 of the Revised Code.
The administrator hereby sets administrative cost contributions for public
employer state agencies as indicated in paragraph (D) of this rule for the
bureau of workers' compensation and the bureau of workers' compensation board
of directors. Based upon the information provided to the administrator by the
industrial commission pursuant to section
4123.342 of the Revised Code,
the administrator, with the approval of the chairperson of the industrial
commission, hereby sets administrative cost contributions for public employer
state agencies as indicated in paragraph (E) of this rule for the industrial
commission.
(B) The administrative
cost contributions due for each employer, except for self-insuring employers,
are set in accordance with section
4123.341 of the Revised
Code.
(C) Whenever administrative
cost contributions established under this rule and rule
4123-17-32 of the Administrative
Code prove inadequate or excessive, the same may be adjusted at any time during
the biennial period.
(D)
Administrative cost contributions for the bureau of workers' compensation and
bureau of workers' compensation board of directors for public employer state
agencies are 17.85 per cent of premium effective July 1,
2024
2025.
(E)
Administrative cost contributions for the industrial commission for public
employer state agencies are 8.03
7.81 per cent of premium effective July 1,
2024
2025.
