Ohio Admin. Code 4501:2-1-05 - Motor vehicle equipment standards for steering
Motor vehicles shall be inspected to determine if:
(A) Steering assembly operates normally.
(B) There is not more than the
following movement (play) in steering wheel:
Power steering-two inches
Manual steering-three inches
(C) Sector shaft is secure.
(D) There is no binding or excessive lash in
the steering assembly.
