Ohio Admin. Code 4723-26-07 - Prohibitions on delegation
(A) Pursuant to division (B) of section
4723.82 of the Revised Code, a
registered nurse shall not delegate to a community health worker the
administration of medications.
(B)
No community health worker to whom a nursing task or
activity is delegated shall delegate the nursing task
or activity to any other person.
(C) Employing a community health worker to
engage in the unauthorized practice of nursing is prohibited by section
4723.03 of the Revised Code.
(D) If a community health worker
delegates a nursing task or activity, the
community health worker shall be engaging in the unauthorized practice of
nursing, which is prohibited by section
4723.03 of the Revised Code.
(E) If a community health worker
performs a nursing task or activity and
does not comply with all the provisions set forth in this chapter, the
community health worker shall be engaging in the unauthorized practice of
nursing, in violation of section
4723.03 of the Revised Code.
