Or. Admin. Code § 230-080-0260 - Seconds - Number
(1)
Each contestant may have three seconds of the contestant's choice and each such
second while assisting in the boxer's corner shall present a neat and tidy
appearance. Each contestant shall have one second licensed as a second (Class
A).
(2) Seconds shall leave the
ring enclosure at the sound of the timekeeper's whistle. They shall leave the
ring platform and remove all obstructions, including stools, buckets, and
equipment promptly when the gong sounds for the beginning of each round. None
of these articles shall be replaced on the ring floor until the gong has
sounded the end of a round.
(3)
Seconds are forbidden to toss a towel or any other object into the ring in
token of defeat of their boxer.
