Or. Admin. Code § 250-020-0340 - Boat Operations in Wallowa County
(1) Grande Ronde River: A person must not use
a motor to propel a boat between the Umatilla National Forest Boundary (1.5
miles below the confluence with the Wallowa River at approximately RM 80)
downstream to the Oregon/Washington state line, except for landowner access for
land management activities.
(2)
Kinney Lake: A person must not use a motor to propel a boat.
(3) Snake River: A person must not use a
motor to propel a boat between Wild Sheep Rapid and Kirkwood Historic Ranch
without a valid permit from the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area or
Wallowa-Whitman National forest.
(4) Wallowa Lake: A person must not operate a
motorboat in excess of a slow-no wake speed within 200 feet from shore along
the west side of the lake in the area bounded by the county boat ramp on the
north and the mouth of the Wallowa River on the south.
