Reimbursable Placements Types. The out-of-home placement types
listed in sections (1) and (2) meet the Title IV-E definition of a reimbursable
placement. The out-of-home placement type listed in section (3) is reimbursable
by Title IV-E for only the first 14 days of a child or young adult's placement
in that setting.
(1) Family foster
home settings:
(a) The home of a certified
non-relative; or
(b) The home of a
certified relative.
(2)
Non-family settings:
(a) A QRTP; or
(b) A setting specializing in providing
prenatal, post-partum, or parenting supports for child or young adult
(c) A setting providing high-quality
residential care and supportive services to children who have been identified
as sex trafficking victims or are at risk of becoming sex trafficking victims;
or
(d) A supervised setting that is
approved by the Department, in which a young adult is living
independently;
(3) A
child care institution which does not meet the definition of a QRTP and is not
a placement type described in subsection (2).
