Or. Admin. Code § 413-203-0060 - [Effective until 8/15/2025] Authorization
(1) Title IV-E,
section 471(a)(10) of the Social Security Act, requires the State of Oregon to
establish a state authority responsible for establishing and maintaining
standards for foster family homes and child caring institutions.
(2) ORS
418.635 gives the
Department the authority and responsibility to approve homes
for a child in the care or custody of the
Department. ORS
418.640(1)
authorizes the Department to develop rules to approve these
homes.
(3) In these rules, a
Relative Resource Parent is a foster parent as that term is used in ORS
418.016,
418.200,
418.606,
418.640, and
418.648.
