Or. Admin. Code § 413-203-0140 - [Effective until 8/15/2025] Requirements Regarding Termination of a Certificate of Approval
(1) A certified
relative resource parent may request that the Department terminate their
certificate and close the home. The certified resource family must give the
Department 10 business days' notice between the date of the request and the
date the certified resource family would like the certificate to
terminate.
(2) When a
child in the care and custody of the Department placed in the
home leaves a home that has a Relative Certificate of Approval or Relative
Temporary Certificate of Approval, the certificate terminates 60 calendar days
after the departure of the child, unless the relative resource
parent will be providing certified respite to support the child and family
during reunification.
