Or. Admin. Code § 462-010-0020 - Commissioner Vacancies
(1)
Following appointment by the Governor and approval by the Senate, a new
Commissioner shall take the oath of office at the next regularly scheduled
Commission meeting and shall serve, at the pleasure of the Governor, for a four
year term, and until their successor is appointed and qualified.
(2) An unanticipated Commissioner vacancy
shall be filled by appointment of the Governor for the unexpired
term.
(3) Any Commissioner may be
removed by the Governor for cause after a public hearing. Notice of hearing
shall fix the time and place for the hearing and shall specify the charges.
Copy of the notice shall be served on the commissioner by mailing it to the
commissioner at the last-known address of the commissioner at least 10 days
before the date fixed for the hearing.
