Or. Admin. Code § 581-017-0607 - Funding: FFA Summer Duty Extended Contract Grant
(1) The Department of Education shall
determine for each fiscal year the portion of the funds available for the FFA
Summer Duty Extended Contract Grant.
(2) Prior to the allocation in each fiscal
year, the Department of Education shall:
(a)
Identify qualifying secondary school districts that have an approved
Agriculture Science and Technology Program of Study; and
(b) Identify the maximum allocation available
for individual teachers for FFA Summer Duty Extended Contract Grants for each
fiscal year.
(3) Funds
received by a school district under this section must be separately accounted
for and must be used in accordance with the school district's approved calendar
of FFA activities.
(4) Any funds
not claimed within a grant cycle will be reallocated into the FFA Summer Duty
Extended Contract Grant fund and will be made available for the next grant
cycle or returned to the state general fund at the end of the
biennium.
