Or. Admin. Code § 750-070-0010 - State Board of Towing Investigations
(1) The State Board of Towing may investigate a complaint when:
(a) The complaint subject appears to be within the Board's jurisdiction and
authority, and
(b) There is sufficient evidence to justify a
Board investigation to determine if the allegations against the Respondent(s) are such that, if proven, could
result in disciplinary action being imposed by the Board.
(2) The Board Administrator oversees the investigation process on behalf of
the Board and serves as the primary point of contact.
(3) To the
extent permitted by law, the Board will cooperate with other regulatory boards and other agencies when
conducting an investigation.
(4) Nothing in this section is
intended to limit the Board's authority to initiate and conduct investigations on the Board's own
motion.
