Or. Admin. Code § 818-038-0005 - Dental Therapy Education Program
The Board defines "Dental Therapy Education Program" as:
(1) A program accredited by the Commission on
Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association, or its successor
organization, and approved by the Board by rule;
(2) A dental pilot project as defined in ORS
679.600 and includes at least
500 hours of combined didactic and hands-on clinical dental therapy
practice.
(3) Beginning January 1,
2025, no new applicants may qualify for licensure under section 2, unless they
completed training within a fully approved OHA dental therapy pilot project
prior to January 1, 2025.
