Or. Admin. Code § 824-060-0020 - Behavior Analysis Interventionist Professional Methods and Procedures
A registered behavior analysis interventionist is subject to ORS 676.612 and OAR 331-020-0075. In addition, a registered behavior analysis interventionist must:
(1) Only perform duties within their scope of practice in
applied behavior analysis in which they are competent.
(2) Tell a supervisor if the interventionist needs additional
training to perform the intervention.
(3) Follow written treatment and behavior intervention
protocols.
(4) Gather and report data accurately.
(5) Protect client confidentiality.
(6) Report time worked with clients accurately.
(7) Not accept gifts worth more than $10 from clients.
(8) Not engage in romantic or sexual relationships with current
clients. Not engage in romantic or sexual relationships with prior clients for
two years after the professional relationship ends.
(9) Not engage in romantic or sexual relationships with current
supervisors until the supervision ends and the termination is
documented.
(10) Must disclose any relationships with the client or the
client's family to their supervisor.
(11) Must tell their supervisor if their client's family is
requesting the performance of tasks outside the scope of the client's
intervention plan.
