Or. Admin. Code § 839-015-0605 - Knowingly Using the Services of an Unlicensed Contractor
(1) Pursuant to ORS
658.465(1), any
person who knowingly uses the services of an unlicensed construction, farm or
forest labor contractor is personally, jointly and severally liable with the
person acting as a construction, farm or forest labor contractor to the same
extent and same manner as provided in 658.453(4).
(2) A person knowingly uses the services of
an unlicensed construction, farm or forest labor contractor in violation of ORS
658.465(1), if
the person:
(a) Uses the services of a person
acting as a construction, farm or forest labor contractor and the person
actually knows that the contractor does not have a valid license to act as a
construction, farm or forest labor contractor; or
(b) Allows work to be performed on any
contract or agreement with an unlicensed construction, farm labor contractor
without first complying with the provisions of ORS
658.437(2) and
OAR 839-015-0509.
